there has to be a qualifying event, or at open enrollment (once a year).
Ask HUman Resources HR / Office Manager.

Qualifying Event would be; loss of other coverage (example from his employer) … and usually must enroll within in 30 days of termination date.
Another example of a QE would be marriage.
Same goes for new borns … you must add your child to your plan within 31 days (sometimes 60 days) from date of birth (don’t assume the new born is automatically added)

If you’re talking about a group policy through your employer, no.

There are very specific rules as to when you can add or drop a dependent from a group plan: at the time of initial eligibility, during open enrollment (once a year), or when there is a qualified change in status.

That’s it. If you’re thinking that you can wait until your spouse “needs” the coverage before you add them, you’ll find yourself with quite a problem on your hands.

I paid over $5k for my braces. If I were you I would contact your insurance carrier from your work to find our the exact coverages of your plan. Thats the only way to know for sure.

and you really dont get much cheaper
they can go up to about
5,000

If it’s a group plan, you have to do it at open enrollment or when you have a qualifying event. E.G. Within 30 days of marriage or the spouse loses his/her insurance due to a cut in hours or loss of job. How long you have to do it is a question only your insurance or employer can answer.

Probably not.

Most of the time you have 2 choices:

During enrollment period
When you first get married

It’s to prevent people from just adding spouses whenever needed. Imagine if people only added their spouses when the spouse had a huge illness, the system would collapse/take massive losses.

Most insurance plans have an open enrollment period once a year. Unless there is a qualifying event (marriage, divorce, etc.) you can’t add or drop anyone from your insurance.

If they are moving around it could be one of two things. 1. You are correct they are not properly placed or 2. If you have had them for a while…they have done their job and you need to go back and get the blue ones put in to keep it spaced until you get your braces. But yes don’t worry they really do create just enough space between you teeth! I know they hurt…hang in there

They only take a limited number of cases a year and since its so limited, dentist take more private patients, the NHS is also in shambles

Well it depends it can either be A) their snatching your money up or B) their gonna work…you seriously needa go see them again if their moving around that seriously means their not place correctly
