Cosmetic Dentistry – I hear you can get teeth drilled into the gums?

Is this a good idea? How much does it cost typically for each tooth?

You are talking about implants and they run at about 2k for each tooth.
Dental implants. They range in price from 1,000 to 3,500. Depending on how realistic you want them to appear up close and where they are located. Generally, molars cost less
I think that you’re talking about veneers? I wouldn’t advise that if you’re teeth aren’t really bad… it’s very expensive. If they are crooked, you should probably just get braces.
You are not talking about veneers, you are talking implants as the other posters have suggested. And it sounds like you don’t have a lot of money, as most of us don’t these days.
So, do this. Go to your local dentist and ask for a free evaluation. Don’t get X Rays; they will charge you and they cost $250.00 at least!! Just ask for a free exam and an evaluation of your mouth.
Or, go to a dentist that advertises free evaluations on TV or in the paper. See how much they charge and if they will “work you a deal” for implants. And it will be expensive!!
Better idea. If you live near a college that has a Dental school, go in and ask for an evaluation. You will have to pay a fee but it is minimal. If your tooth problem qualifies, the dental students work on you and do a great job for their class grades! And at a minimal charge.
You see, the students need patients to practice on and also practice their “bedside manner”.
